About us
We’re so glad your checking our our web site. Hopefully it will give you a glimpse into what life is like at our building and as we hang out together in smaller groups and as we serve the community.
Maybe you could come by some Sunday at 10:30 and check us out? Or, you can join us on Facebook Live.

What we believe:
We believe by focusing on three relationships Up, (encountering God), In (caring for each other) and Out (loving all our neighbors) is where we can find the fullness of life that God offers.
Up – Our relationship with God is our first priority at Encounter. We use Sunday morning together and online to help us focus up. We have a causal atmosphere where we aim for all people to feel comfortable. There is a message given to help us encounter God in practical ways. We then have a time of music that we find is often a way many connect with the Spirit of God. If you desire prayer for any issues in your life we have people willing to pray with you.
In – It is most important to love God but if we do not love our brothers and sisters who we can see we are only fooling ourselves about loving God. Practically we must spend time with others in environments where we can be known and we can know others to develop healthy long term relationships. At Encounter we encourage everyone to become part of a small group that meets during the week where you can spend time together. Different groups focus on different activities but the common factor is the group is a place to care for others and for others to care about you.
Out - Learning to love our neighbors demands we learn to love people who are different from us. God desires to have relationship with everyone and he wants us to be involved in helping them experience his love by them experiencing our love. At Encounter we offer opportunities to serve our neighbors. You can do that through joining in one of the monthly events we offer.
